About the Job:
MicroVentures is seeking IT/MIS Manager for its new subsidiary in the Philippines. S/he will contribute to select the company€™s' software, manage and maintain the hardware equipment, and contribute to the customization of the MIS according to the needs of the institution especially in terms of process flow and reporting. This position is based in Metro Manila.

S/he will contribute to select the company€™s' software, manage and maintain the hardware equipment, and contribute to the customization of the MIS according to the needs of the institution especially in terms of process flow and reporting. This position is based in Metro Manila.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To guide the process of defining the company’s software requirements and selecting, customizing, and implementing the right MIS to match them fully;
- To properly manage and maintain all aspects to the MIS and IT infrastructure;
- To lead the department of IT/MIS and ensure that the department meet KPIs;
- Take the responsibility of all IT setups in the head office and all branches;
- To design directly or through vendors and produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports as required;
- To be in constant communication with internal users and software vendors;
- To train/coach staff on MIS use and other software;
- To ensure that the security of the company’s data is protected through backups of all loan tracking and financial software information.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering in Telecommunications, Engineering in Information and Technology;
- At least 8 to 15 years of working experience including at least 5 years in operations management positions, preferably in the financial services industry (retail consumer banking, financial institutions or microfinance or distribution company);
- Proven experience in managing software and system to support retail finance products distribution through large branch network;
- Knowledge on databases (MySQL) and SQL programming is an asset;
- Planning and organization skills, result-oriented;
- Fluency in English;
- Ability to find pragmatic solutions that are adapted to the processes and workflow in the company;
- Transparent person with high integrity and ethical values;
- Must be a citizen of Philippines.
