The Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) is an accelerated development experience for mid-career HR Professionals. You will gain valuable experience through three rotations across the UK & participate in world-class training twice a year. You will also develop a long-lasting professional support network with some of the highest potential HR Professionals in the company. The ideal candidate will have worked in both a hands-on & strategic HR role within a challenging & matric environment.
* The program consists of three assignments of 8 months, including a range of generalist and specialist HR rotations across GE Capital EMEA. The rotations will predominately be within the UK with the potential for a European assignment.

* Each assignment will give you the opportunity to operate at a senior HR level, contributing to strategy, design and execution across a range of HR disciplines. You will experience at least one generalist rotation, as well as the specialist /Centre Of Excellence functions. Each assignment on program will be of similar scope and responsibility, and we will select your rotations to complement existing skills, as well as to support the development of new skills.

* The program will give you extensive contact with peers and senior level business leaders from around the world, providing significant opportunity to expand your knowledge base, critical problem-solving skills and professional network.

* The Human Resources Leadership Program is designed to provide practical, hands-on, Human Resources experience and training in business concepts and HR techniques, ensuring we develop strong HR professionals who are also outstanding business leaders. To compliment the practical experience, you will also participate in formal classroom training in advanced human resource management techniques, finance and business concepts.

* Upon completion of this 2 year acceleration program you will be eligible for consideration for a range of HR leadership roles across GE Capital.
What we will be looking for in you:

* Ideally have a Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and or a related discipline in which business knowledge and an understanding of human resource practices has been gained.
* You’ll be an experienced HR generalist with a proven track record of working independently across the broad spectrum of HR activities.
* Experience of partnering and influencing senior stakeholders, including business leaders and HR colleagues.
* Possess excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization up to executive level.
* Geographically mobile - open to travel to meet the requirements of the HRLP program.
* Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
* Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills.
* Strong understanding of the application of local labor laws and government requirements.
