Database Services Senior Executive

Right now we need a talented professional in our Database Services Team to help facilitate targeted donor engagement campaigns for our Communications and Fundraising Department, enabling our donors to further develop their relationship with WWF-UK. This will include marketing data selections, database configuration, data management and supporting the implementation of new initiatives. The team also provides end user support and database consultative services to other areas of the organisation.
You will take project management responsibility for the implementation of changes to our marketing databases as well a wide range of technical and non-technical projects. As such, you will be required to maintain strict change control and procedures and consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also be expected to recognise the impact and implications of new requirements and be able to deliver effective solutions and technical changes. A senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to deputise for the Database Services Manager as and when required.
With previous solutions-driven experience gained in a fundraising, or communications function, as well as an excellent understanding of relational databases and data management techniques. You will also need exceptional communications skills and proven resource allocation and management ability. An understanding of fundraising and direct marketing processes is essential, previous financial management and budgeting experience is desirable.
