Corporate Stewardship Manager (Agricultural Commodities)

This is an exciting new role within the Timber and Seafood unit of the Corporate Stewardships team, where you will be responsible for engaging and inspiring UK companies to act on the specific commodities in ways which are as closely relevant as possible to WWF-UK’s stewardship priorities.
You will strengthen UK oversight of network engagement and ensure traction with companies, financial institutions and government on the need for responsible sourcing and stewardship. As well as confront the pressure exerted by UK trade in these commodities on WWF-UK’s priority places through tactical landscape and land use planning.
You will have a confident understanding of how to engage businesses on the need for responsible sourcing practices and good stewardship of natural assets, have proven experience of influencing policy and a keen interest in commodity trade issues. A strong ability with technical projects and financial management is essential.
