Oikocredit International (Amersfoort, the Netherlands) is looking for a fulltime controller.

Requirements and responsibilities:

As the controller, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects within the finance department and will handle operational issues related to internal & external reporting, planning and budgeting, tax and compliance issues. The controller will also contribute to the development and fulfilment of the team's strategy and objectives and will stand in for the finance director when necessary. The finance department consists of an accounting unit, a credit support service unit, an investment administrator and a treasury and reporting specialist.

Oikocredit is looking for someone who has at least five years' relevant experience in this field of responsibility, preferably a qualified accountant with a master's degree in control, finance or business economics. Applicants with strong project management skills, capable of providing insights via organizing, analysing and reporting financial data are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a strong interest or experience in the field of economics in developing countries are especially welcome. To be successful in this position, you must be able to work independently and pragmatically and be a good communicator. Thorough knowledge of English is essential, while knowledge of other languages such as French or Spanish is desirable.
