Manager: Investment

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Manager of Investment will be responsible for short and long-term investment plans. Shall identify, screen and evaluate investment projects through
research and monitor implementation in collaboration with Upstream and Downstream Directorates. He/She shall participate in preparation of sound corporate planning guidelines resulting into executable corporate plans.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates sourcing of funds for projects implementation;
Develops risk-based asset allocation model and performance analytics and prepare recommendations for senior management;
Conduct due diligence, negotiate and manage investor agreements and present investment recommendations;
In collaboration with the Director of Finance ensures projects are funded appropriately;
Coordinates and reviews pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for all investment opportunities including those of subsidiaries and associated companies;
Assists the Director of Corporate Strategy and Planning in contract negotiations and evaluation of analysis of major projects;
Supervises project investigations and regular technical evaluation of Upstream and Downstream business operations;
Lays down strategies for carrying out research appropriate to TPDC with a view of reducing costs, enhancing operations and identification of new products and processes;
Participates in contract negotiations for selection of consultants, contractors, processes, materials and equipment's;
Prepare and analyze investment reports for Senior management;
Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by superiors

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Direct Entry Qualifications:
Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, Economics, Finance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

WORKING EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years' experience of which 3 years must be at senior level. Proven high administrative and managerial ability in the oil industry and knowledge of international oil business is essential.
