Manager – PSA Accounting

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Management of the PSA financing and accounting. Responsible for the records keeping of all PSA costs, training funds, license fees and all financial information matters relating with PSA projects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures compliances with PSA accounting procedures by the PSA Operators;
Receives, reviews, analyzes and compiles quarterly and year-end statements from the operators;
Maintains PSA cost recovery statements accruing from each PSA and revenue accruing therefrom;
Reviews and analyzes PSA budgetary systems and cost allocation;
Reviews and analyzes budget and work programs for the year in collaboration with PSA desk officers for the purpose of the Advisory Committee;
Prepares, determines and arranges financing requirements relating to TPDC participation in each PSA;
Discuss with PSA Auditor before field work regarding PSA auditing;
Liaises with TRA and other related institutions regarding tax issues;

Establishes a system of controlling the cost of materials and services used in the exploration and production activities;
Undertakes training of staff under the Section;
Performs any other duties assigned by Director of Finance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Direct Entry Qualifications:

Holder of a Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent and CPA (T) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Specialization in international finance in Oil and Gas shall be an added advantage

WORKING EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years' experience of which 3 years must be at senior level relevant field. Proven high administrative and managerial ability in the oil industry and knowledge of international oil business is essential.
