Sandvik Mining seeks for
Business Controller Service
The CIS Sales Area of Sandvik Mining is looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Business Controller Service. This position provides strategic financial support to drive business planning, analyzing and forecasting for the Services business in order to improve business performance. The position would directly report to Business Controller CIS, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance areas:
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure that financial activities meet short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations and standards.
  • Manage financial planning and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities and prepare reports and recommendations identifying financial implications to the Services Management Team
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies for the Services business that align with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance in financial processes for actual, forecast and budget reporting
  • Drive performance management processes from a financial point of view
  • Develop relevant KPIs, reporting, comments, guidelines and training for increased understanding and awareness of business performance
Your profile and qualifications
We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in a financial or commercial field. You have at least five years of work experience in a business control area and a strong commercial background. Experience in a Mining, Construction or Industrial sector is highly valued.
Combined with your analytical mindset you are also able to influence, lead and motivate others to promote change and innovation. You are a fast learner with a genuine interest in stimulating business performance from a financial point of view and are results driven.
You have an eye for detail yet also the ability to see the bigger picture. You are commercially and legally astute with a demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. You are fluent in English and Russian and are highly proficient at MS Office Programs.

The position is based in Moscow and includes some travel, which on occasion may be international
