Our West Africa and Latin America region covers 7 countries: Bolivia, Burkino Faso, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Sierra Leone
With c.750 employees and an annual income of c.£5m, the region is experiencing significant stable growth. This on-going growth has created the requirement to ensure we have consistent and robust financial management.
About the role
The newly created opportunity of Finance Director, West Africa and Latin America is responsible for supporting the region to achieve sustainable growth through improved financial management and performance. The role will work closely with the Regional Director and Finance Directors in the region, proactively identify financial gaps and weaknesses. The role will influence and work with country finance teams to create rigorous solutions, ensuring they are implemented and maintained correctly.
With one report based in the region you will have the opportunity to build capacity in the country finance teams, bringing your exceptional financial acumen to make our social enterprise more effective.
You will have overall responsibility for the financial management in the country programmes.
About you
We are seeking a proactive finance professional who is experienced in a multi geographical environment. You will have built the capacity of remote finance teams, ideally in developing countries context, influencing at a senior level to ensure financial rigour.
London based, W1.
Full time / permanent. There will be the opportunity for a some travel with this role, we envisage up to 10%.
Salary: c.£60,000 + pension and bonus.
