Salary: £32,640 per annum

Islamic Relief Worldwide are currently recruiting for the position of Human Resources Partner to act as an experienced HR generalist and business partner, supporting internal customer needs autonomously with limited supervision being required. The post holder will strengthen the employee relations functions by actively managing employee concerns and implementing relevant policies and processes. S/he will lead on the development and implementation of key aspects of the team work plans and systems, including policy development. The post holder will contribute significantly to the department in order to ensure that it is capable of fully achieving its agreed targets and departmental objectives.
The HR Partner will manage the resolution of specific disciplinary or grievance cases, including acting as an arbiter between employees. The post holder will prepare staff handbooks and ensure that the workforce is aware of company policies and procedures.
S/he should also have proven experience in managing complex HR projects ranging from performance management, employee relations, policy development, change management and employment law. The post holder will be CIPD qualified or equivalent (extensive HR experience may also suffice in place). The successful candidate is expected to be a strong problem solver who is able to analyse data to reach sound conclusions through experience, research and assessment techniques. The job holder will have extensive experience of generalist services or business partnering in HR. The HRP role will work with the central HR department which oversees HR services nationally and internally. Some knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage though not essential. Knowledge of French or one of the Indian subcontinent national languages will also be positively considered.
