This is an opportunity to use your secondary qualification to “A” Level or equivalent vocational qualification, plus your administrative working experience and familiarity of liaising with governing bodies to support our key Strategic Planning and Evaluation Division (SPED).
Your role is to provide administrative support to SPED’s professional and diplomatic officers as needed, in a team-working environment. You will be responsible for arranging meetings and travel; preparing financial data and reports; filing and records management; handling enquires from Commonwealth High Commissions and other esteemed stakeholders; and assisting with publications and briefs, all of which will require you to maintain strong relationships across the organisation and externally with member governments.
It is a role in which every day will be different as you become involved in a wide variety of tasks from obtaining quotations from hotels and travel agents, to monitoring project expenditure, to reconciling reimbursements and preparing cash advances, to contract management within procurement guidelines, and producing and tracking budgets and analysing variances.
