  1. SUPPLIES ASSISTANT (1 POST) – JOB REF. 01
 Reports To: Supplies & Transport Officer
Reporting Office:   Kihansi Hydro Power Plant.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Receive, issue and record materials in the store to ensure store balance is maintained all the time
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Receiving of materials from suppliers and ensure that the quality and quaintly correspond to the given specification and store in a safe place.
  • Issue materials by insuring that the quantity corresponds with the approved store issuing voucher.
  • Posting of both receive /issue voucher to ensure stock balance corresponds with received/issued items.
  • Key in materials in iSCALA system to ensure correct data control.
  • Carry-out Local Purchase to ensure that the items purchased meet value for money
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Form four/six plus
  • Ordinary Diploma in Procurement & Supplies Management or equivalent from recognised institution.
 2. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (1 POST) – JOB REF. 02
Reports To: Mechanical Engineer
 Reporting Office: Kihansi Hydro Power Plant
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To service and repair of Power Plant Motor vehicles,station road equipment , execute planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance, Troubleshooting, installing, servicing and repair of generating sets and their accessories according to Company policies and regulations .
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • To ensure preventive maintenance of all vehicles and station road equipments is carried out as scheduled.
  • To prepare initial maintenance report and keep record of all preventive maintenance carried out.
  • To advise Mechanical Engineer on matters regarding major repairs and overhaul of the vehicles and keep record of breakdown maintenance carried out for each vehicle.
  • To visit the stores and report the status of availability of spare parts and arrange for early procurement of consumable items for the motor vehicles
  • To supervise motor vehicle mechanics to ensure each one is fully engaged to his/her duty.
  • To ensure there is high standard of cleanliness of the workshop buildings and Power Station compounds
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Form IV or VI Secondary Certificate plus
  • Ordinary Diploma/FTC in Mechanical Technician
  • Minimum of 2- years of related experience
  • Should be computer literate
  1. NURSE MIDWIFE (1 POST) –JOB REF. 03
Reports To: Clinical Officer
 Reporting Office: Kihansi Hydro Power Plant.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Ensures provision of high- quality health services to staff, dependants and non staff in collaboration with other medical team members.
.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Responsible for provision of mother and child health services
  • Provides community based education health
  • Nursing patients and take record of patients vital signs
  • Administer medicines and drugs as prescribed by Clinical Officer
  • Provide professional care to patients to ensure of their recovery physical and general well-being.
  • Maintain up to date inventory of all dispensary facilities under her/his use and report    in case of any damage to the appropriate authority.
  • Assisting Clinician on compiling weekly and monthly reports needed by PHRO & DMO
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Form IV or VI Secondary Certificate plus
  • Holder of Diploma in Nursing Midwifery
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Should be computer literate
4. AUTO ELECTRICIAN (1 POST) – JOB REF. 04 
 Reports To: Mechanical Technician
 Reporting Office: Kihansi Hydro Power Plant
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for maintenance of motor vehicles and heavy duty Earth mover’s electrical system at the station and ensure that systems are in perfect working condition
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Ensure Industrial and workshop safety regulation
  • Maintain motor vehicle records pertaining service and repair
  • Ensure that all electrical systems on station vehicle are working properly by
 carrying out required preventive, and corrective measures.
  • Ensure station road equipments (wheel bucket loader, motor grader roller compactor) are properly working by carrying out required preventive and corrective checks.
  • Advise workshop supervisor on the requirement of spare parts, modification needed and other related measures to ensure continuous availability, reliability of station vehicles and road equipments.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Form IV or VI Secondary Certificate plus
  • VETA Trade Test Grade II or equivalent in Auto Electrician /Electronics
  • Minimum of 2- years of related experience
  • Computer literate
  • 5. DAY CARE TEACHER (1 POST) – JOB REF. 05
 Reports To: Human Resources Officer
 Reporting Office: Kihansi Hydro Power Plant 
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To provide high quality and standard education services to employees’ children, dependants and children from surrounding community in collaboration with other team members.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games, and storytelling.
  • Perform both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives.
  • Provide inputs for bi – annual assessments for children’s development.
  • Keeping all appropriate record of attendance and time sheet.
  • Establish routine and provide positive guidance to children.
  • Ensure that children are being supervised all the time at the school environment.
 ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Form IV or VI secondary certificate plus.
  • Holder of Certificate in Nursery Teaching from a recognized Institution.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in the related field
  • Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
REMUNERATION:
