National Account Manager – Wholesale & Directs

We are now looking to recruit a National Account Manager managing our wholesale and directs business unit. In this role you will manage and develop Diageo’s Route to Market partnerships, trading terms and strategy within the national wholesale network , business and trading plans and ways of working with our key national wholesalers – ALM, NILWA & ILG – to maximise our effectiveness and efficiency in this channel. Key areas of focus include:
 
  • Lead the operational and trading performance agenda for key RTM wholesale – through building strong relationships across internal stakeholders & key wholesale contacts.
  • Develop and successfully execute your Business Plan with each customer partner
  • Manage, Lead & Co-Ordinate the CPI Process & H1/H2 Wholesale Replenishment Projects with all key RTM Wholesalers – engage and gain alignment with key stakeholders in the commercial and supply team
  • Manage an effective Route to Market servicing the needs of our Independent customer base.
  • Manage, Lead & Co-Ordinate the Directs Business Process year round with RTM Wholesalers and internal stakeholders – engage and gain alignment with key stakeholders in the commercial and supply team.
  • Manage First class relationship with wholesale customers & wholesale customers with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the Key Account Co-ordinator (KACO) team to deliver efficient business support

To be considered for this role you must have previous key account management experience within an FMCG or similar industry where you have managed group customer agreements. In addition you must have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and ways of working with the ability to drive an agenda across multiple functions internally. Finally you must be able to lead, coach and mentor a driven team of KACO’s.
