Duties and Responsibilities

• Typing confidential information
• Maintaining register for file movement.
• Attending telephone calls and taking messages preparing workers` meeting’s agenda, arrangement of meeting venue as well as report writing of the meetings.
• Sorting out files in order of urgency before giving them to the officer concerned for action.
• Receiving and attending visitors.
• Making appointment for visitors.
• Ensuring that office materials are well maintained.
• Preparing and submitting requisition for office materials.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by higher authority.

Qualification and Experience

Holder of IV/VI with full Secretarial Certificate grade II and Short Hand Capacity in English and Kiswahili 80 wpm or equivalent secretarial Training from recognized institution and computer knowledge in windows, MS DOS internet operation and publisher.


Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institute`s salary scale.
