SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Invitation for Pre-qualification
CONSTRUCTION OF COUNCIL OFFICE HEADQUATER
(Four Storey Building)
LGA/121/2010-2011/W/14
The Sikonge District Council has received Grant from the Central Government towards the cost of the Construction of Council Office Headquarter (Four storey building), and it intends to apply of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the contract for of Construction of Council Office Headquarter Four storey building). The Sikone District intends to the pre-qualify contractors and /or firms for Construction Office Headquater (Four storey building). It is expected that invitation to bid will be made in April, 2011.
Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified Regulation 15 of the Public Procurement (Goods, works, Non-Consultant Services and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2005- Government Notice 97 of 15th April 2005, and is open to all firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures.
Interested applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the Sikonge District Council (Address below) form 08:00 to 15:00 Hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays. A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be application to the address below and upon payment of a non fee of Tshs 100,000/= (One hundred thousand shillings only) The method of payment will be cash draft or banker's cheque to District Executive Director, Sikonge District Council, P. O. Box 70, SIKONGE
Application for pre-qualification should be submitted in sealed envelopes delivered to the address below by 10:00 Hour a on 15th March, 2011, and be clearly marked “Application to Pre-qualify for Construction of council Office Headquarter (Four storey building).”
