Director-General - IPPF

Director-General £114,750-£135,000 plus benefits package | London with international travel

IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organizations working with and for communities and individuals. IPPF aims to improve the quality of life of individuals by campaigning for sexual and reproductive health and rights through the provision of services and through advocacy, especially for poor and vulnerable people across the globe.

IPPF now seeks an inspirational, confident and strategic individual deeply committed to our mission who will lead the Federation to complete the implementation of the strategic framework. Able to demonstrate experience of working at senior level in complex, globally-dispersed organizations, you will engage volunteers and staff to unite around a clearly prioritized delivery plan, mobilizing resources effectively throughout the Federation.

As a powerful, politically astute advocate, able to influence globally at governmental level and to engage stakeholders and donors, you will equally have the drive to build the capacity and capability of the organization internally and have the confidence to delegate responsibilities as appropriate. Working closely with the President, Governing Council and senior staff you will seek to increase the visibility and reach of IPPF and ensure the diversification of funding sources.

You will be able to demonstrate good understanding of the sexual and reproductive health agenda and have a transparent, consultative and decisive style and bring alignment and coherence across stakeholder groups.
