• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Nurse.
• Evidence of experience in teaching either at a college or higher education level.

Department of Video Technology
Junior Lecturer
Ref: JL04 (3 year contract)
Minimum Requirements:
• The applicant is expected to have completed a B Tech in Video Technology.
• The applicant is expected to have some teaching experience.
• The applicant should have a minimum of 3 years industry experience.
• The applicant must commit to register for an MA or M Tech qualification, and complete this qualification during the three year period of the contract.
• The applicant must be computer literate.

Additional Recommendations:

• Lecturing or Tutoring in the field of Television Production at a tertiary institution will be considered an advantage.

Summary of Duties:
• Teach and examine course work at first, second and third year level in the national Diploma: Video Technology Programme, as assigned by the HoD.
• Complete all administrative duties related to the teaching of the courses that are allocated.
• Attend all Departmental functions, staff meetings, etc.

Department of Visual Communication and Design
Lecturer

Minimum Requirements:
• Master of Technology in Interior Design or a Master of Architecture.
• 3 years appropriate industry experience as an Interior Designer or a Professional Architect.
• Fully autoCAD literate.
• A comprehensive portfolio of professional work.
Proficiency:
• In MS Word, Excel and the use of the internet.
• It will be expected from the person appointed that they teach in the field of Interior Design, providing academic leadership for the programme and be informed on the roles and the responsibilities of the profession.
• In addition the incumbent will have to do research and provide leadership and guidance to students.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Additional Recommendations:

• Proven competence (portfolio of drawings) in other computer programmes such as Google Skech Up, Revit, ArchiCAD and Photoshop.
• A sound knowledge of Theory of Services and its application in the discipline.
• Experience in facilitating learning at undergraduate level.
• A sound knowledge of technical drawing skills and drawing conventions.

Summary of Duties:
• Provide academic leadership.
• Facilitate learning in Interior Design, construction technology, construction documentation and 2D and 3D AutoCAD and computer rendered presentation skills as applied in Interior Design.
• Conduct research and publication.
• Perform academic administration.

• A Masters Degree in Auditing or a Chartered Accountant registration with SAICA or Certified Internal Auditor registered with SAIIA

• Experience within an Internal Audit environment.

• Required to lecture on aspects of Auditing (Internal and External) and Taxation.
