Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
IntraHealth International, Inc. is currently accepting expressions of interest from potential Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist candidates interested in IntraHealth’s submission for the upcoming USAID-funded integrated family health project in Rwanda. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be accountable for orchestrating M&E related program activities and achieving all M&E related program results.
Successful candidates for the M&E position should have a Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Demographics or a related field and will have a minimum of five years of experience in monitoring and evaluating public health programs. S/he should have experience with USAID or with USAID funded project. The applicant should possess demonstrated skills in quantitative data analysis and data management as well as demonstrated analytical skills and experiences to identify and evaluate best practices and state-of-the-art approaches to be utilized by the project. S/he should have experience working with community-based organizations, NGOs and host country governments and must have experience working in health programs in Rwanda.
Proficiency in statistical databases is required (e.g. SPSS, EPI-Info) as well as strong skills in Excel, Word, and Power Point. The candidate for the M&E Specialist position should have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and must be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with other donors and project partners. Written or verbal communication skills in French is a plus.
