Demand Dignity Corporate Campaigner

Fixed term contract of one year in duration

About the role

We are looking for a campaigner to contribute to our campaigning work as part of our global business and human rights work. In this role you will help develop strategies and actions to mobilize the organization's worldwide membership to campaign effectively against corporate-related human rights abuses. With an understanding of issues of poverty and human rights, you will be responsible for developing and delivering winning campaign strategies within Amnesty International’s (AI) global Demand Dignity Campaign. You will act as a focal point providing advice and support to our worldwide membership, including devising campaigning strategies and preparing written and other campaigning materials, along with providing research support on corporate-related human rights abuse issues.

About you

Drawing on your track record of successful planning and co-ordination of campaign strategies and project management, you will develop campaigning materials for the membership, and help organize other campaigning events.

Joining a supportive and experienced team of researchers and campaigners with a deep knowledge of Business and Human Rights, you will have proven campaigning exposure, first hand working experience or campaign knowledge along with an interest and understanding of human rights and political judgment. You will also have proven experience working across teams and coordinating actions among a number of different actors. You will also need effective writing and communication skills and an understanding of membership organizations.
