Teaching Fellow in Criminology University of Hull

The Department of Social Sciences wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Criminology.

This is a part-time, one year post, beginning in September 2011.

You will possess a first degree and a post-graduate qualification in a relevant social science discipline and have some teaching experience. You will be able to contribute to a number of modules, including introductory crime statistics, drugs and drug use, punishment and the penal system and support for modules in introductory theory and research in the social sciences. You will be asked to supervise undergraduate dissertations and undertake some administrative duties.

The Department of Social Sciences is a large inter-disciplinary Department conducting teaching and research in criminology, sociology, social policy and social work.
