Advisory Technical Solution Manager (TSM)

Job description
Technical Solutions Management professionals are responsible for the development and marketing of IBM Strategic Outsourcing (SO) technical solutions directly to customers. By using a combination of IBM and non IBM offerings, services, labor, assets, hardware, and software products, the TSM creates complex, multi-year, custom solutions and associated cost cases which meet the customer's requirements. The technical directions established by the TSM are the foundation of IBM's solution and heavily influence marketing, human resource, contract and delivery strategies for the engagement. The TSM is required to anticipate, create and define innovative technical solutions which match the customer's and IBM's tactical and strategic requirements. The TSM owns the definition of the technical solution and is the primary source of Strategic Outsourcing technical engagement management and solution design.

The Technical Solutions Manager will lead multi-discipline teams on engagements, and/or manage a single discipline of a larger engagement, to develop and close technically and financially difficult, opportunities. The TSM is a member of Engagement & Business Integration Services of GTS SD.

The TSM works very closely with the responsible sales representative from SO (CSE, BDE) toward signing of a new deal and will become a member of the Engagement and Business Integrations Services of GTS SD.

Gross Salary EUR 57.400,- p.a. Possibility for overpayment is based on education and experience.
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Technical Solution Managment
  • English: Fluent
  • German: Fluent
