CARE International UK (CIUK) is currently recruiting a Programme Funding Manager to lead a team that is responsible for the production of high quality contract and grant bids to DfID, EU, charitable Trusts and foundations. The bids will support CIUK’s development priorities and will be developed in close association with CARE Country Offices and technical teams within CIUK. Development of market intelligence to support CIUK strategy is critical. The post holder will support the head of unit to input into CIUK advocacy positions related to funding and will lead in the gathering of intelligence in relation to the funding environment.

You will have a strong track record of managing teams that have successful and consistently raised institutional funds for development programmes. You will possess excellent knowledge of the current funding environment and have the ability to work effectively with other teams and work well under pressure. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and a good understanding of wider project management processes in the NGO sector and establishment of systems and procedures.
