Civil Quality Engineer

Job Ref: MN5408

The Civil Quality Engineer will be responsible to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Installation of quality assurance statistical sampling processes.
• Improvement and monitoring of quality inspection processes.
• Formulating and monitoring of quality assurance procedures.
• Conducting scheduled and ad hoc quality assurance audits.
• Preparation of corrective action reports.

Requirements

• Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• At least 7 years hands on experience in large civil engineering projects. Experience in large concrete works is required.
• Excellent management and communication skills.
• Good ISO quality system knowledge.
• Flexibility to working hours.

Safety Officer

Job Ref: MN5409

The Safety Officer will be responsible to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and ensuring implementation of health and safety strategies and developing internal policies.
• Implementing the company Health and Safety Procedures and developing local work procedures to comply with legal obligations.
• Carrying out job safety analyses and considering how risks can be reduced or eliminated.
• Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and are working well.
• Overseeing safety audits and keeping records of inspections’ findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
• Ensuring that staff are inducted according to the Safety Procedure.
• Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all environmental, health and safety legislation and any developments in the industry, and liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Maintaining a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous occurrences in the site.
• Providing regular statistical summaries to Management and drawing attention to significant trends and occurrences.

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Sciences.
• Professional Certification in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Proven record of at least 7 years HSE experience in a reputable organisation.
• Flexibility to varying working hours.
• Customer service oriented.
• A mature individual with high level of discretion and unquestionable integrity.

Foremen (Concrete/Steel Fixing Shuttering)

Job Ref: MN5410

The Foremen will be responsible to the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (Concrete Foremen), Mechanical Engineering (Steel Fixing Foremen) and Wood Science (Shuttering Foremen).
• Proven record of at least 7 years in concrete works, steel works and heavy wood works.
• Flexibility to workig hours.
• Mature individuals of unquestionable integrity

Plant Mechanics

Job Ref: MN5411

The Plant Mechanics will be responsible to the Plant Foreman.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Construction Plant option).
• Proven record of at least 5 years in the maintenance of construction equipment.
• Flexibility to working hours.
• Mature individuals of unquestionable integrity
