 The Academy of European Law is the leading partner of the European  institutions, national administrations and professional associations in  continuing professional training in European law.
 We are looking for a
 Lawyer (Course Director)
 with special interest and experience in European tax law, trade and
 customs law and related areas
 Your job will be to prepare and run training courses, organise  high-level conferences and develop e-learning modules targeted at  practitioners of European law (such as lawyers in private practice,  inhouse counsel, civil servants, judges, prosecutors).
 You will have an excellent knowledge of European law, good  networking and communication skills and be fluent in at least two of  ERA’s three working languages (English, French and German). Professional  experience of legal practice would be an advantage. Lawyers with a  Nordic law background are particularly encouraged to apply.

 The post is for an initial fixed term of two years, after which an  indefinite contract may be offered. The normal place of work is the city  of Trier in Germany, just over the border from the EU‘s judicial  capital in Luxembourg, and regular travel is part of the job.
