Town Planning Technician
Salary: R155 225 – R201 497 per annum
(Task Grade T11 of a B4 Municipality)
Minimum requirements: • National Diploma in Town and Regional Planning • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Town Planning • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD • Code 08 driver’s licence.
Duties: • Evaluate minor applications including building plans and formulate reports to ensure legal land uses and recommend to the Town Planner • Liaise with stakeholders to get inputs and comments and ensure a common approach to development • Conduct administrative duties with the Town Planner so as to ensure that there is synergy of activities • Conduct inspection to observe current land use and advise accordingly.
