CARE International UK (CIUK) is recruiting a Senior Contract Management Officer – Contracts & Grants (SCMO) to provide support and coordination to the development of quality budgets for bids and grant applications. The key focus of this role is to provide contract management support on CIUK’s tendering opportunities, and to provide capacity building to the Programme Funding Team and Contract Management Team strengthening our work on the financial aspects of bids. A secondary focus of the role will be on budget review and financial reporting on existing contracts and grants.

You will have a strong track record of working on successful proposal submissions to institutional donors. You will be highly competent in the provision of financial support on competitive bids and in managing service contracts and grants. You will have excellent data analysis skills, and have a high level of competency with spread sheets, databases and accountancy based IT including advanced Excel. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and a good understanding of wider project management processes in the NGO sector and establishment of systems and procedures.
