Communications and Policy Manager RICS

This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the promotion of a global organisation during a time of European growth. The post is based in Brussels but will involve travel throughout Europe and the Middle East.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has around 100,000 qualified members and over 50,000 students and trainees in some 140 countries. It is the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction. RICS sets professional standards for the property sector and RICS Regulation underpins our members’ and firms’ professional ethical and business standards to provide quality assurance to clients and the general public.

In order to enhance the professional reputation of RICS in the region, the Regulation Department of RICS is increasing our capability to provide regulatory services in our key markets.

We want to enhance how we communicate with our members and stakeholders throughout Europe and to raise awareness of the benefits of regulation in providing quality assurance for a professional body.

You will be responsible for developing the reputation of RICS Regulation with internal and external audiences, through the delivery of RICS Regulation communications in the region.

You will support our policy making by using your understanding of the market, analytical and problem solving skills to help influence decisions at global and regional levels.

You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with experience of writing engaging copy for different audiences and channels, and a proven ability to build and maintain valued relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

You must be fluent in English and knowledge of other European languages will be a distinct advantage.
