UNICEF Human Resources Specialist - P3, Amman, Jordan

Purpose

This role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Regional Human Resources Team in delivering technical assistance, guidance and oversight in recruitment and placement, talent management, staff relations, staff well-being etc to Country Offices. For details please see the Terms of Reference.

Qualifications and Competencies

To be successful in the position, you will have sound understanding of HR management issues and practices, especially in humanitarian contexts and possess an advanced university degree in human resources, social sciences, business administration or other relevant disciplines. In addition, a minimum of five years progressively responsible relevant professional work experience in Human Resources Management is required and experience of managing databases and leading recruitment campaigns.
• Proven experience in supporting emergency response and experience of HR in an international organization and experience of working in developing country is an asset.
• Fluency in English and another UN language. French / Arabic would be an asset.
