Airport Electrical Engineering Expert
Qualifications Requirements:
1. University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent academic qualifications and training.
2. Extensive experience at a responsible level in the installation, maintenance and operation of electrical facilities, specifically for airports such as power generation, electrical power distribution, airfield lighting, and communications.
3. At least seven years of operation and maintenance experience in electrical engineering at airports.
4. Familiar with the latest manufacturing and design criteria; familiarity and work experience with electronically operated equipment.
5. Knowledge of ICAO and other international electrical standards.
6. Report preparation ability is essential.
7. Ability to train other electrical engineers.
8. A good command of oral and written English, French or Spanish is essential.

Duties:
1. Serve as senior electrical engineer for maintenance activities.
2. Supervise the other staff members in the field of electrical engineering.
3. Review proposals for projects covering design, specifications, and construction for electrical facilities.
4. Initiate proposals for corrective action on deficiencies in existing facilities in the electrical field.
5. Review the preventive maintenance programme in regards to electrical facilities.
6. Review, when required, budgetary estimates for electrical facilities.
7. Co-ordinate with chiefs of other disciplines within the maintenance organization.
8. Train national counterpart engineers where required.
9. Perform other related duties as may be required.
Salary:
In accordance with the ICAO Technical Co-operation Bureau (TCB) grading system.
