Job Description

Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring the 100% receipt, distribution, retention and recovery of the aircraft continuing airworthiness maintenance records and data to meet corporate and regulatory compliance and maintain asset value.
Recognised as the business documentation management ‘expert’.

Principal Accountabilities

Ensure the documentation compliance by; -

  • Managing the data supplied by vendors for Engines, gears and other major items is correctly receipted, translated into EWS and archived for future recovery
  • Ensuring the data for new and other aircraft is correctly receipted and archived for future recovery
  • Matching the master list of SB and AD incorporation to the substantiating documents
  • Ensuring, where required that the data is audited to ensure mandatory controls are maintained
  • Managing the receipt, and distribution of document changes from the manufacturers
  • Business owner for the Banctec record storage system or the TI portal

Ensure the asset value of the aircraft or component is maintained by;

  • Ensuring that all relevant aircraft records and documents are captured, retained and recovered when necessary
  • Providing all necessary documentation for the sale or lease return of any operated aircraft
  • Delivering all documentation required for the onward owners of our aircraft

Essential Qualifications

  • HNC/D
  • Willingness to gain appropriate company or external qualifications as required

Experience

  • Detailed knowledge of the manufacturers and in house publications systems
  • Experience of working in aircraft and / or component maintenance

Expertise

  • Working knowledge of company processes, procedures and regulatory requirements applicable to the work environment
  • Working knowledge of EWS applications associated with data control and document management
