Assistant Operations Manager, Zhejiang

The ultimate goal of Assistant Operations Manager is to align goals, achieve volume share and profits, and set conditions so territory is fully developed, through taking accountability in one or a few specific categories in the business area , partnership with bottler and alignment of business strategies across the system



Key Results Areas


Develop Annual Business Plan and achieve annual business targets in the assigned categories in the business area




  • Get aligned with local bottler on the strategies, annual business targets and annual DMI budget.

  • Secure the compliance and execution of the business plan via effectively using various information.

  • Diagnose issues and drive action plans of local bottler to make sure business is running on track.



Explore local opportunities in the assigned categories in the business area




  • Identify significant unexploited market opportunities and recommend plans on how to seize them

  • Introduce best practices of examples to local bottler to enhance system’s ability.

  • Find and direct KO resource to support bottler to capture the opportunities for a faster growth



Understand the local consumers and customers, especially in the assigned categories




  • Be totally up-to-date with all relevant local consumers, customers and competitive trend

  • Regularly feed up latest market information to the system and interpret all research data to derive implication

  • Lead the process of local insight development

Knowledge , Experience & Attributes:



  • Relevant experience of 3- 6 years, preferably in FMCG industry

  • Sound knowledge of Marketing and Operations

  • Pro-active, hungry for learning, logic and analytical thinking, highly adaptable

  • High level of mobility will be definitely a plus


Education & Professional Qualification:


Bachelor degree or above


Language Requirements:


Good written and oral English & Chinese skills


Travel / Mobility Requirements:


An AMDM should be spending 50% of his/her time in Market with his/her team and or bottler team


The AMDM needs to be open/willing to move through few locations in order to progress to bigger responsibility
