CHF International Project Director – Anticipated Child Labor/Forced Labor Projects

CHF International’s mission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low- and moderate-income communities around the world helping them improve their social, economic, and environmental conditions.

CHF International is seeking Project Directors candidates for anticipated Department of Labor programs worldwide. These program will focus on eliminating the worst forms of child labor; reducing child labor/forced labor by improving policies to address child labor issues; enhancing monitoring and enforcement of such policies; providing direct delivery of services to children engaged in or at-risk of various forms of child labor and their households in communities where livelihoods are largely impacted; and human trafficking internationally

The Project Director will provide the overall management and general technical direction of the program; will effectively execute strategies to develop a child and forced labor reduction program in an agricultural supply chain, and coordinate project learning and evaluation; will serve as a representative to the program liaising with the donor and other partners; will manage coordination with CHF/HQ; and will be responsible for the program achieving target results.

Qualifications:

•Advanced degree •Must have a clear and thorough understanding of USDOL policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. •Minimum of five years experience in project management, supervision, administration, and implementation of cooperative agreement and contracts requirements (including meeting deadlines, achieving targets, and overseeing the preparation and submission of required reports). •Experience in a leadership role in implementing development projects relevant to international child labor/forced labor issues, human trafficking and child labor policies. •General knowledge of data collection and project monitoring and evaluations. •Ability to establish and maintain systems for project operations, including a Performance Monitoring Plan. •Ability to maintain working relationships with all project stakeholders, including coalition building and partnership promotion. •Familiarity with Department of Labor regulations and programs desired. •Fluency in English required; second language desired.
