Direct Marketing Manager

SALARY: £31,504 – 33,727pa

Are you passionate about making a real difference? Then help shape ActionAid's future as Direct Marketing Manager.

As part of the global ActionAid family, we work with local people in 43 countries to fight poverty and injustice and to build a fair and just world where everyone can claim their human rights.

We want you to plan and deliver high budget marketing campaigns across a wide range of direct marketing channels tomeet our supporter acquisition targets. Based on your analysis of past campaigns, you’ll develop direct marketing programmes that grow our supporter base and increase our income.

You’ll be adept at managing suppliers so that they produce the best work for us. This will involve working closely with colleagues in other areas of our organisation to ensure we have consistently high quality, integrated campaigns that support our position and branding.

We expect you to have an impressive record of managing direct marketing campaigns, including cash and regular giving programmes.

You must be skilled at managing agencies, printers and mailing houses. You also need to be used to commissioning and managing market research projects and interpreting and applying their findings.

A classic direct marketer, you’ll be used to optimising campaigns and monitoring, reporting and forecasting against plans and budgets.
