Senior Product Strategy & Innovation Manager

SALARY: £43,239 – 46,291 pa
LOCATION: Central London
CLOSING DATE: August 16th 2012

Are you passionate about making a real difference? Then help shape ActionAid's future as Senior Product Strategy & Innovation Manager.

As part of the global ActionAid family, we work with local people in 43 countries to fight poverty and injustice and to build a fair and just world where everyone can claim their human rights.

We want you to lead the strategic planning cycle for the ActionAid individual giving portfolio, developing an overview that will enable you to make recommendations to senior leadership and identify opportunities to develop new fundraising products.

You’ll then be responsible for developing these new products – either within your team, or supported by other fundraising teams.

Much of your success will depend on your ability to promote a culture of innovation and demonstrate best practice in new product development to your own and other teams. As you’ll be responsible for managing the Innovation budget, you must be skilled at planning, reporting and continuous re-forecasting.

You also need to be adept at negotiating with and managing suppliers so they produce the best work for us.

We expect you to have an impressive record of guiding insight focussed NPD projects through a clearly defined stage gate process and of developing product strategies.

This should mean you’re used to working at a strategic level and providing recommendations to senior leadership.

You need to be skilled at commissioning and managing market research projects and interpreting and applying insights. You’ll be commercial with a record of delivering results.

This is an exciting time for ActionAid. Bring us all this and you can look forward to all the opportunities our innovative new approach and increased investment in our people will generate.

Applications close August 16th 2012.

Interviews will take place between August 20th and 22nd 2012
