Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the full EC procurement cycle;
  • Plan and coordinate all logistical arrangements associated with the submission of procurement documents, including arrangements for courier or visas, flights and hotel accommodation;
  • Prepare administrative documents for submission as part of the EC procurement process including financial and legal statements for the company and partner organisations;
  • Source formal references from Key Expert candidates;
  • Prepare and respond to requests for clarification and other formal correspondence with the client and partners;
  • Check partner financial and professional figures in accordance with requirements;
  • Manage the printing and binding of Expressions of Interest, and Technical and Financial proposals;
  • Carry out administrative compliance checks on all final outputs for submission.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of working for the EC directly or similar international development company;
  • Familiarity with EC Procurement Procedures is essential;
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task;
  • Attention to detail as well as an ability to see the bigger picture;
  • Time and personal management skills;
  • Clear communication skills and fluency in English (both written and oral) and at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish or Portuguese is required;
  • Ability to get on with people at all levels.

Travel:

  • Some travel will be required.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in related field.
