As a Manager, you will be a valuable resource in Corporate Finance Services in Tanzania, focusing on one or more of the following:
  • Financial and Commercial Due Diligence;
  • Vendor Due Diligence;
  • Transaction Advisory ( Infrastructure, Debt and Public Private Partnerships);
  • Valuation and financial modelling; and
  • Mergers & Aquisition Advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all assignments are well planned, the team is well briefed and equipped to handle the assignment and that all team and client issues are addressed expeditiously;
  • Develop client service objectives, which will enable the Firm to fulfil its professional responsibilities, and satisfy its clients' needs and exceed their expectations;
  • Use judgement to identify risk and apply global and local quality processes and risk procedures to each client;
  • Develop and manage sound business relationships, and market the Firm with the aim of maintaining and winning new business;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the economics of the Firm and profitably manage engagements by using the appropriate resources of the Firm to achieve results in the most efficient and effective manner;
  • Contribute to the preparation of divisional budgets;
  • Promote practice economics by ensuring billing and collections are done expeditiously;
  • Keep abreast with technical developments in the profession and the country, in order to anticipate client needs, and offer value added and practical business solutions; and
  • Train and develop the skills of our staff, in accordance with the Firm's methodologies and ensure that their performance is professionally managed per the Firm's guidelines.
As the ideal team player, you should possess the following attributes:
  • Bachelor degree preferably with a specialisation in Finance or related field;
  • Professional qualification e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA);
  • A Masters degree is an added advantage;
  • 4-8 years of work experience in Corporate Finance or similar environment preferably in a professional services organisation;
  • Business development skills;
  • Outstanding analytical skills;
  • Team player who is proactive and assertive;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • Fluency in English.
