Partnerships Program Manager Internews Phnom Penh, Cambodia

General Function:
Internews Network is seeking a Partnerships Program Manager candidate for a potential USAID funded program in Cambodia to build on local efforts by technology-oriented civil society organizations using new technology and social media for development by formalizing a technology / social innovation lab. The Partnerships Program Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program related to partnerships with the private telecommunication and technology sectors.
The goals of this program are to, through investment in social innovation processes:

1. Empower civil society and citizens with equal access to information and communications,
2. Increase access to and diversity of educational opportunities, and incubate and design technology-based solutions for CSOs
3. Train CSOs how to use media technology for development purposes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for managing all aspects of program related to building upon mature technologies and introducing useful consumer products and services through partnerships with the private telecommunication and technology sectors
· Includes developing and managing all public-private partnerships;
· Developing and executing implementation plans of products and services resulting from partnerships;
· Oversee social marketing and outreach for development methodologies and support’
· Support partnerships strengthening and community building with Cambodian organizations and thought leaders
· Collaborating with USAID to develop and monitor the Memoranda of Understanding with private companies;
· Monitor the progress and implementation of activities conducted in partnership with private sector organizations;
· Help identify new partnerships for new innovations;
· Creating an atmosphere for private sector and civil society to work more closely.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of the private sector entities in Cambodia
· Proven project management skills to manage the partnership component of the project
· Demonstrable project design and management skills to develop and execute implementation plans of products and services resulting from partnerships.
· Demonstrable communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with USAID and private companies.
· Prior experience working with the private sector, particularly entities with corporate social responsibility priorities and programs.
· Excellent capabilities and skills working with a range of international and national partners, proven track record of effective relationship and alliance building efforts in complex and challenging contexts
· Outstanding English skills and good Khmer language skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills, necessary to maintain good relations with relevant stakeholders;
