Mission of Providence House is to offer a faith-based, transitiionsal housing and self-sufficiency program for motivated mothers with young children who are homeless. They may stay in the program for up to two years as they develop the habits and education to live independently.
Directs daily operations; requires good organizational and managerial skills. Meets with clients weekly for accountability; need to set a standard of excellence (not perfection), and offer encouragement as they work toward their goals of self-sufficiency.
Able to schedule, train, and manage employees (2) and volunteer teachers, child care, clerical, etc workers. Write grants, newsletter, press releases, etc. Able to make and follow a budget.
Salary commensurate with experience.
