With funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the International Youth Foundation (IYF) is working in partnership with the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development (MOSD) to design and implement a five year holistic youth development program to improve social services and protection for vulnerable populations, with an overarching focus on youth employability and civic engagement. The program will achieve this goal through the delivery of comprehensive community based activities to meet the needs of disadvantaged youth between 5 and 24 years of age that fall under four components: 1) Increased Youth Access to Market-Driven Life, Employability, and Entrepreneurial Skills Training; 2) Provision of Youth Friendly Services; 3) Expanded Civic Engagement of Youth; and 4) Policy Coordination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the maintenance and operation of workstations, ensuring a timely response to staff needs.
- Perform hardware and software maintenance, and assist with equipment repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
- Laptop / Desktop setup for new employees, including but not limited to: outlook email accounts, email signatures, calendars, shared folders and printers.
- Assist with technology needs during project conferences and events.
- Perform system backup functions.
- Provide support with internet operations in the Amman office.
- Assist with technical support of telephone system.
- Provide support (maintenance, setup, installation) to satellite field offices in Jordan.
- Other duties as assigned by Finance & Administration Manager.
- Assist with IT contracts managed in the Jordan office; both for IYF Jordan office and Jordan programs in coordination with technical program and M&E teams.
- Assist with updates to Youth:Work Jordan website in coordination with Communications team
SUPERVISOR
The IT Assistant will report directly to the Senior Finance & Administration Manager based in Amman – Jordan.
QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in IT, including hardware maintenance and networking.
- Oral and written fluency in English and Arabic required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
