Web Engineer

BuboBox is on a dedicated mission to change the online media marketing landscape through our social engagement suite.
We enable brands to easily set up social media campaigns, moderate, spread and analyze the content, and reward their fans through social and gaming mechanics.
We are a funded company and are working with famous brands like ABInbev, Ben & Jerry’s, Lu, Vier, Belgacom/Skynet, Henkel, Mobile Vikings, Telenet, VRT and many others.

Ideal technical profile:

• Strong and experienced web developer;
• Broad knowledge of latest web technologies;
• Ability to work individually but also in team (we use modern tools like Pivotal Tracker, Basecamp, GIT);
• You can show us some of your previous (side) projects, that’s just how passionate you are about web development.

Skills:

• PHP, Javascript, CSS/Less, HTML5;
• CodeIgniter (or a simular MVC framework);
• Plus, JQuery, EasyXDM;
• Amazon Web Services;
• Vagrant, Grunt, Actionscript;
• Pomodoro lover (or any other fruit);
• Command-line skills.

Various:

• Stronge interest in social and digital media;
• Good communication skills;
• Languages: Dutch, English;
• Tenacity;
• Decent Mario Kart & Ping Pong skills for our high-level in-company competition (actually it’s ok if you suck) :)
