Assistant Country Director, Finance and Administration

CARE International in Papua New Guinea (PNG) is seeking to fill the vital role of Assistant Country Director Finance and Administration (ACD F&A). The ACD F&A will direct, control and coordinate the finance and key operational functions for the Country Office including providing effective financial and operational management of disaster responses. The role assists with the overall management of the PNG Country Office and contributes to the overall development and attainment of long term strategic objectives as a member of the Country Office Senior Management team.
We are looking for a senior operational manager who has management experience in a complex international setting. Your demonstrated leadership and management experience and your relevant qualifications and experience in accounting or Commerce/Economics, as well as your extensive strategic and operational experience in accounting and financial management with an international NGO or similar organisation in a developing country will be highly valued.
