i+solutions is a young and dynamic organization located in Woerden with a local office in Washington DC. In Woerden we employ about 60 persons and work with sub-contractors across the globe.
Our clients include international organizations such as WHO, UNFPA, Ministries of Health and of Foreign Affairs, USAID, the Global Fund, UNITAID, NGO's and private companies. We are the major pharmaceutical procurement partner in the US Government-funded PEPFAR program and the Voluntary Pooled Procurement program (VPP) for the Global Fund, with a total yearly procurement volume over 300 million USD.
The i+solution Training, Consultancy and Projects department is increasingly involved in consortia and partnerships related to innovative projects in the domain of Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR). Senior Consultants with Supply Chain Management and Project Management Expertise
(Full-time)

Areas of engagement and responsibilities
The following areas of responsibilities should be covered by the Senior Consultants:
* Drive capacity development activities that contribute to strengthening pharmaceutical supply chains. Develop/enable market assessments, develop/guide related activity plans and their implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
* Provide technical support in designing strategies that support service providers in improving access to, and quality of, SRH and HIV/AIDS products and services.
* Regional management and development of the Africa team, focussed on assisting governments and other development stakeholders on making health impact at country level through identification and implementation of supply chain and market development solutions.
* Provide technical assistance on Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) issues.
* Review, develop, and prepare training and communications activities in PSM.
* Financial planning and monitoring of projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
* Advanced degree in logistics, health sciences, SCM or related field with at least 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals management, health commodity logistics, supply chain capacity building and management.
* An accomplished, result driven professional with relevant expertise in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
* A minimum of 5 years proven active engagement in strengthening health care systems in low income countries.
* Strong organization, managerial and coordination skills.
* Experience with participation in international health programs and systems strengthening actions, as well as with working closely with high-level host government officials, the private sector and multilaterals. SRH and HIV/AIDS programmatic experience preferred.
* Sound interpersonal skills are of prime importance. Integrity and teamwork both within the company and in engaging with Ministries of Health, Consortium and other partners is key.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required. Candidates with a high degree of proficiency in both written and spoken French will be preferred.

Conditions of Employment
