Field Service Manager - Surface Mining
The role
To manage the service of mining equipment and maintenance contracts and to meet the required company targets, through:
  • Effective operations & resource availability
  • Cost Effectiveness
  • Customer Relations
  • Effective subordinates
This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining internal and external clients, on and off site according to maintenance contract and customer’s requirements.
Your profile
  • Grade 12/High School Diploma
  • Certificate of Competence in Basic Financial Principles
  • 5 Years Technical trade experience
  • 3 Years Management/Supervisory experience
  • Intermediate Computer Literacy
  • English proficiency
  • Code B licence
  • Physical & Medical ability to function in an underground mining environment
  • Trade Certificate (section13)
  • Extensive experience in trackless underground/surface mining environment
  • Entrepreneurial business experience
  • May be required to travel
