Account Manager

Job Purpose
Develop long term customer relationships and help our customer exceed their targets, utilizing the entire Sandvik’s offering , to increase Sandvik Share of customer spend.
Key performance areas:
  • Build customer relationships
  • Drive execution of account plans
  • Develop deep understanding of customer business, operations and opportunities
  • Lead the customer account team (working closely with BLMs)
  • Orchestrate the use of all available resources (Sales engineers, Service team members, etc.) for the plan execution and development of the account
  • Identify customer account opportunities
  • Develop account plans for Local Accounts
  • Participate in the development of Global Account plans, where relevant
  • Ensure the connection with global teams and share information (e.g. CRM, sales volumes, strategy, fleets, visit information)
  • Lead budgeting process for the account to integrate account view versus product line view (feed to global accounts when part of global account structure)
  • Participate in the account reviews
  • Comply to one way of working for the account/accounts as an active member of the global sales area account team
Your profile:
  • Good contact and knowledge in the industry
  • Contact with customers
  • Contact with distributors
  • Rich sales/key account experience
  • Profound knowledge of mining product lines
  • Successful sales cases in the industry
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good Communication Skille
  • Above ten years work experiences in related industry
  • University Degree or above
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
