What you’ll be doing
Working in our office in central Brussels, you will be supporting the team by developing key communications initiatives and materials, as follows:
- Develop a comprehensive annual (2017) comms strategy;
- Support EDAA’s PR initiatives:
- Review and maintain EDAA Press Distribution List;
- Outreach to relevant journos etc. with news releases and press briefings;
- Building relationship with existing Media Partner, to ensure coverage.
- Review and propose changes for EDAA’s websites to ensure they respond to the relevant audiences, and are clear and dynamic;
- Planning and content of EDAA blog, and newsletters;
- Regular use of Twitter;
- Messaging and graphics work for key EDAA reports (Annual Report, Research Report);
- Ensure that current infographics on EDAA are regularly updated and that there are key materials explaining the role and value of EDAA and its activities;
- Support with the organisation of webinars (approx. 2 per year);
- Support team with organisation of annual event - 2017 EDAA Summit.
What skills and experience you need
- Relevant communications experience of at least three years;
- Ability for graphic design, with experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, etc.);
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint);
- Excellent English (knowledge of other European languages an asset);
- Interest in, or prior experience with, issues surrounding data protection or online privacy, as well as a keen interest and knowledge of the digital advertising industry;
- Enthusiastic approach to delivering high quality results with attention to detail;
- Proactive team player, with an ability to work autonomously towards completion of tasks and responsibilities.

The European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance is a non-profit organisation based in Brussels and is responsible for enacting key aspects of the self-regulatory initiative for Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA) across Europe. EDAA principally acts as the central licensing body for the OBA Icon and provides technical means for consumers to exercise transparency and control over OBA through the www.youronlinechoices.eu online consumer choice platform.
