Part-Time Finance Coordinator (1 day / week)

What you’ll be doing
Working in our office in central Brussels, you will be responsible for handling EDAA’s finances, collaborating with, and under the supervision of, external accountants, as follows:
  • Liaise with EDAA’s accountants (Deloitte) on general financial matters.
  • Maintain and execute accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) on BOB:
    1. Perform internal bookkeeping entries (in BOB accounting software);
    2. Set up weekly payments and verify successful processing;
    3. Organise and file original documents in-office;
    4. Track all AR and AP, and follow-up where necessary (e.g. invoice reminders);
    5. Regularly update EDAA’s internal financial reports;
    6. Manage cash flow;
    7. Report weekly to the Project Manager and the Programme Development Director.
What skills and experience you need
  • Relevant finance experience in Belgium of at least three years;
  • Knowledge of Belgian financial and accounting legislation;
  • Experience working with BOB accounting software;
  • Excellent English (a good level of French and Dutch would also be an asset);
  • Good telephone manner;
  • Proactive team player, with problem solving skills.
