Product Area Tube, within Sandvik Materials Technology, is a leading manufacturer of seamless tubes and pipes in an extensive program of stainless steels, nickel alloys, titanium, zirconium and other advanced materials. The Tube Sandviken Business Control department is now looking for an analytical and ambitious Business Controller to join us. Wetake an active part in supporting decision making and performance management by securing high quality processes and providing efficient, reliable and proactive financial analysis. In this role, you act as a true business partner - translating numbers for business and describing how different choices affect the results – and we offer you the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a further career within finance.
Job Summary
As Business Controller you are part of our Tube Sandviken Business Control department, working together with the team and being responsible for controlling Product Unit Special Metals (PU SZ). Managing financial processes such as accounting, monthly closing, reporting, forecasting and product calculation are part of your assignment. Being responsible for business control of PU SZ, you also take an active role in supporting operative and strategic decisions by conducting ongoing follow-ups of performance and analysis, as well as reacting to deviations. Additionally, you communicate and collaborate with all necessary stakeholders.
In this position you are a part of the Special Metals management team.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and relevant work experience from the field of finance. Previous experience from working with business control, monthly closings and reporting is considered a plus. You have excellent skills in Swedish and, as we interact internationally, you are also fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing.
