Fisheries Internship - Biodiversity Programme
ClientEarth is seeking an enthusiastic intern to work with our Fisheries team on European fisheries management and control. The internship will give you the opportunity to work closely with a specialised team of lawyers and scientists, and to learn directly how environmental issues can be tackled through a legal approach.
You must have a relevant degree in law or legal studies; knowledge of EU environmental laws and current issues in fisheries management and marine conservation will be advantageous.
About us
ClientEarth is a public interest international environmental law group founded in 2007. We bring together law, science and policy to create innovative and practical solutions to key environmental challenges. We use law as a tool to protect people and the planet. Working in partnership with citizens and policy-makers, we are committed to securing the rights of civil society to participation, information and justice in environmental matters.
Our programmes cover democracy, wildlife, oceans, forests, energy, climate change, business and health. We currently employ over 90 staff, including legal experts qualified in more than ten jurisdictions and based across offices in London, Brussels and Warsaw. We have recently established a fund-raising office in New York and we are also exploring ways of using our expertise to support implementation of China’s new environmental laws.
