Sandvik Mining seeks for
Tax Manager
The role
Sandvik is seeking a Tax Manager to ensure complete tax and local accounting reporting and all connected activities.
Key performance areas and responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordination of tax projects to ensure compliance with legal requirements in tax area
  • Manage preparation of transfer pricing documentation and preparation TP notification
  • Monthly/Yearly closing preparation local accounting and tax reporting including supporting documentation for local taxes
  • Responsible for preparation IFRS Group Reporting Package (BS, PL, tax package,disclosure)
  • Create provisions/accruals relating to GRNI/SRNI, legal provisions, payroll and personnel related provisions/accruals etc. with supporting underlying details
  • Manage in RAP/ tax audits
  • Participation in IFRS/internal audits
  • Consult on Russian and international tax rulings
  • Observance / check of observance of the internal audit rules
  • Recording in iScala (ERP system) of tax transactions to the local law /corporate
  • Primary documents requirements check
  • Executing of subsequent operations in iScala system (cost center, CoA, master data)
  • Processing and checks of documents for audits and Tax controls with Chief Accountant
  • Managing 1 person (Fixed Assets and Tax accountant )
Your profile and qualifications
  • Higher education (finance, tax, accounting)
  • 5-7 years of work experience in taxation, preferably in multinational company
  • Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for their implementation and consequences
  • Excellent time management skills in multi-tasking environment
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • ERP system knowledge
  • Experience in preparation of TP documentation
  • Successful passing of Tax audits previously are required
  • Fluency in Russian and ability to speak and write in English are a strong plus
  • Advanced user of Excel
