Short Term Technical Assistance Roster

Health Partners International (HPI) is a partnership that specialises in systems, governance and community engagement working in low and middle income countries. We provide policy and strategy advisory support, technical and programme management services in priority health areas focusing on reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH), malaria and other communicable diseases, and nutrition. We have a long track record of successful collaboration with the public and private sectors, civil society and communities, supporting their efforts to achieve equitable gains in health and development. As we move forward in the era of the Sustainable Development Goals, we are developing increasingly integrated and multi-sectoral approaches that take account of the complex nature of our world with its unacceptable levels of inequality, the growing burden of non-communicable disease and the current enormous challenge of migration from areas of conflict, instability and fragility.
HPI has developed an impressive portfolio of global call-down contracts as well as recently launching the Technical Assistance Centre, which aims to provide rapid short-term technical assistance. This means that we require a roster of consultants who are able to provide short-term, rapid technical assistance across a range of assignments. These call-downs will need consultants who are immediately available and able to respond rapidly.
We will be working across a range of areas but HPI will be focused on:
  • health systems strengthening,
  • nutrition and reproductive and;
  • maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
The short term assignments will take place across the global although we particularly welcome candidates with experience in areas of conflict, instability and fragility. Successful candidates will be included within the HPI roster and will be contacted for relevant opportunities. They must be available for short-term work and have the ability to respond to requests within 24 hours. They will be experienced in delivering technical assistance within the health sector. Whilst the geographic focus of these call-downs will be global, HPI are particularly interested in those with experience in areas of conflict, instability and fragility.
